Hi,
We want to create Product hierarchy and allow users to select from Product based on Family.
Since our products start with similar names, we want to ease the search with Products search by Family.
Is this possible?

Yes, we can search products by family.
We will use two filter fields, "Product Structure" and "Parent".
I would recommend you create a personal view.
Then set the condition to Product Structure equals Product;Product Bundle.
Click Edit Columns button and add a column "Parent".
Save the view.
Open the new view, we can filter the Parent column by the family.
