I need to be able to pull together all Customer Transactions along with the dimensions for each Transaction. I am pulling the data from the data lake into Power BI.
I can see there is a link to "DefaultDimensionView" table and this works. However this is not available on the data lake export. Is there another way to get the dimensions per Customer transaction?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks
Main tables of DefaultDimensionView are DimensionAttributeValue and DimensionAttribute.
If you have access to a dev box, you can open in SQL Server view and check how is created and recreate in Power BI Side
Hi KevBar,
In addition to Nuno Maia comments refer to the below tables.
CustTrans, DimensionAttributeValueSet, DimensionAttributeValueSetItem, DimensionAttributeValue, DimensionAttribute.
Just try to join the above table to get the default dimensions for the customer transaction lines.
Thanks,
Girish S.
