"Alert.show" function in the library Alert.js not working in IE

I am using the "Alert.show" function to open custom HTML pop-up from the javascript library "Alert.Js" downloaded from "github.com/.../alertjs".

The function "Alert.show" is working fine in Google Chrome but it's giving an error at runtime (as shown in the image) while executing in IE.ipmsgclip_5F00_r_5F00_1508837340_5F00_0.png

Xrm.Page.ui.setFormNotification("This Request is Rejected.", "INFORMATION") (CRM 2016)

    or

           alert("Error in '" + status + "' :" + e);

    Hi Jeet,

You can directly use alert("Your message") in Html to embed in CRM. Alert library is not needed.

    Thanks,

    Thanks for the reply.

But my requirement is to resolve the error and I do not want to place notification on form.

    Thanks for the suggestion Vignesh.

I need to use Alert library is to customize the name of the button in the pop-up and now I have implemented the functionality but it is not working in IE only.

    Hi Jeet,

This code should work in IE.

    Please check the below prerequisites.

    1. Added Alert.js in the form library at the TOP Level.

    2. Parameter required for Alert.show method are correct and valid.

As per the error mentioned in your screenshot, it seems that you have not provided the required parameter to Alert.show method.

    Regards,

    Jayesh

    Thanks you Jayesh

I resolved the issue before your comment but yes you are right, I didn't specified it at the TOP level.
