Getting the error while plugin debugging.

Hello all Exerts,

getting the error while plugging debuging as value cannot be null.

Profiler> Plug-in AppDomain Created
Profiler> Parsed Profiler File Successfully.
Profiler> Constructor Execution Started: 06/20/2017 00:42:16
Profiler> Constructor Execution Failed due to an Exception (Duration = 221ms).
Profiler> Profiler Execution Completed with an Unexcepted Exception Type (Duration = 0ms): System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException.
Profiler> Profiler AppDomain Unloaded

i am more concern about which constructor it is telling about.

    Seems like the debugger is not hitting the code, most common cases are

    1. Old version of plugin registration is used, with updated version it may start working

    2. Temporary issue where a restart of the visual studio and registration tool will solve the issue

    Hello Ramanathan,

    I am using 2011 PRT for debugging in 2013.

    because sometimes 2013 PRT also do not work.

    second thing i install PP solution using 2013 and for debugging uses the 2011 and it works.

    don't know why this happen so.

    There are multiple versions within 2011 and 2013.  I have faced similar issues in the past and will end up in some weird combo of PP and PRT. As long as it works no worries, try between available SDK's and something should work. All the best.

    while trying to debug using 2013 getting below error.

    The plug-in type "classname" does not exist in the specified assembly.

    why this again don't know.

    also when trying to debug remotely getting the error of no symbols have been loaded.

    now how to overcome this?

    i tried to put .pdb file in the crm assembly location but not working.

    do i need to update the plugin assembly?
