    Hi Benoit,

What is the reason for this question? the record version is used for optimistic concurrency to let the kernel know if two persons are changing the record at the same time. Why do you care about a value in this field?

Hi André, thank you for helping me. I was under the impression that when updating or modifiying a data in certain tables, it would create a new record, using the same RECID but a different RECVERSION. One would be like "expired" and the other would be the "valid" one. I'm not a programmer but i'm trying to build some reports with PowerBi as well as with SQL management studio and I need to apply a filter in a table based on the "valids" records. (Sorry for my english, I'm mostly French)

    Again, thanks for your help

Which table you are referring? ValidFrom and validTo column would be there if table property ValidTimeStateFieldType  has been setup.

RecVersion does not tell/determine the validity of a record. RecId is always unique on table level.
