Why main account from Item does not inherit to main account dimension at PR line detail.

Hi All,

Why main account from Item does not inherit to main account dimension at PR line detail.

I have the requirement from customer, They want to restrict account "2300834" that has to select  Employee dimension only "00001" and "00002". So. I have created "an Advance rule structure" assigned to "the activated configuration account structure".

I tried to create a GL journal for testing rule is working fine.

but I tried to create PR it seems not working because main account of item at PR line does not inherit to main account at PR line detail.

If I manually select main account at PR line detail that Advance rule is working.

Please suggest me.

Thank you

Walaiporn K.

    Hello,

Is your default dimensions defined at the Released item form?

    Thank you,

    Hello Walaiporn K.,

When you say main account dimension do you refer to financial dimensions that have been setup at the main account level?

For PRs the financial dimensions default either from the item or the vendor. So, please check those entities and what financial dimensions have been setup at this level.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

There is an item "G0EX0001"  attached posting profile with account "2300834"

When we select this item in PR line system should inherit account 2300834 to main account dimension at PR line detail.

Sorry , at the release item I did not define any financial dimension value on that but I attach that item with posting profile.

    Hi,

If you attach the financial dimensions to your released item does your problem get fixed?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
