Can customer cards be made inactive in GP automatically?

Posted on by 2,280

Is it possible to automatically inactivate a customer card in GP when there hasn't been a sale in the past year?

    Hello Carolyn,

It looks like the above posts have answered your question. There is no way to do this within GP currently. It would require a 3rd party module/tool/SQL job to do it.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,

    Hi,

I have something similar running as a scheduled stored procedure, as Mohammad sugested. You just need to decide how often you want it to check. It could run every night if you wanted.

I have a proc that archives expired quotes too. You can do so many things with SQL jobs.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

An SQL Job can do the task.

Not without a customization or add on. You can generate a list on a regular basis using Business Alerts or SmartList Reminders.

You can use a product called EIDYNAMICS to do something like this.
