a deposit for this checkbook already has been started error message

When we attempt to enter or post a bank deposit in Dynamics GP 10.0, we receive the following error, "A deposit for this checkbook already has been started. If the process was interrupted, use the Check Links window to check links for CM logical files." We ran through the Check Links process but the report shows no errors. Does anyone know how we can fix this problem? Thanks.

Make sure to include the Checkbook Master, CM setup and CM Transaction files in the checklinks.

Has anyone encountered this message in GP2013? I am getting the same error, but client has completed the Checklinks and no change.

Any other thoughts.

Al,

Have your GP Partner look at CM00100. There is a number in the Deposit_In_Progress field. They will need to verify this deposit is not in CM10100. Assuming it's not there, once this number is deleted, you will be able to proceed.
