Hello,

I would like to know how to import the Task Pad into other databases? I have seen answers like this one: https://community.dynamics.com/rms/f/106/t/36307, but it seems to refer to a version of RMS we don't have.

    taskpads were introduced in newer versions of RMS, but has no way to import of export,  You would have to copy the database table

    .  

    The forum post that you are referencing is from a POS 2009 customer.  They were not using RMS.

    I will expand on my last post a little.  The tables you will need are  

    dbo.Taskpad

    dbo.TaskpadButtons

    Taskpad holds the name and layout number

    TaskpadButtons holds the buttons and the order on the screen.  Also which button does what.

    So you will need to copy the entries from both tables to the other database.  

    You will need Microsoft SQl Server Management Studio.
