Concern regarding the availability and use of Totaling Type in Row Definition

In Financial Reporting for Row Definitions, there is a field "Totaling Type" where there are some types.
I want to know the usage of the Types "Total Accounts" and "Posting Accounts" and why Microsoft facilitates these types.

Additionally, I have observed that when using the Totaling Type set to "Posting Accounts," it is possible to tag Total Accounts (from the G/L list) as long as the account type is marked as Begin-Total and End-Total.

So if this is possible then why there are two different Totaling Types in Row Definitions.
