batch mismatch between SY00500 and GP front end batch finder

Please see the attached document. In the GP front end batch finder I can see a list of open sales batches. None of which appear in the GP table SY00500. I also have a few batches I can find in SY00500 that appear to be open but don't appear in the batch finder in GP front end. Is there a reason why this don't match correctly? Is there another batch table I should be looking at.

We do have an integration between CRM and GP and part of the process does involve creating batches in GP using SQL. The integration broadly works. The batches we can see through the GP front end were created by th integration, why can I not see them in GP SQL tables?
