How to import a credit invoice using Integration Manager

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I just installed IM 10 with the latest patch. I converted the IM.mdb we were using in GP 8.0, and all of the integrations we use on a daily basis converted without any problems. We receive electronic invoices from vendors on a daily basis, and we parse those files to create 4 source documents, one that contains credits invoices, and one that contains sales invoices. The Integrations to import the sales invoices work fine, but when I try to run the integrations for the credit invoices I receive a message that says:

The destination could not be initialized due to the following problem:
Unable to cast COM object of type 'System.__ComObject' to interface type 'Dynamics.Application'. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{6D016638-BA35-11CF-827E-00001B27AB13}' failed due to the following error: Error loading type library/DLL. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80029C4A (TYPE_E_CANTLOADLIBRARY)).

I've already tried the fixes found doing a search including regsrv c:\Windows\System32\MSScript.ocx. I have also reinstalled IM.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks.

I have just used the Charge (item) method mentioned above and it works quite well. It will reduce the cost of the goods, stock balance, and affect the Weighted Average cost calculations, but it will not reduce the quantities of stock.
