ParmObject and Caller in List Page Args

Why ParmObject or Caller is not available in List Page Args ?

I should pass a set of value to modify the range of the query in a list page.

I'm constrained to concatenate the value in a string on one side and to split the string parameters on the ListPageInteraction class side.

I forgot something ?

Thanks in advance

List page is supposed to be opened directly from the main menu's Common area page, thus having access to a caller object would not make sense - that is why it is probably not implemented.

Can't you just read args().menuItemName(), and depending on what menu item is calling your list page, then you apply different filtering, and having multiple menu items?

Have a look at PurchTableListPage* display menu items, where they use an enum parameter to add different filtering. You can find the range filtering in the PurchTableListPageInteraction.initializeQuery() class method. The setListPageType() and getListPageType() methods can read the parm enum value.

I open the ListPage from a class, where I created the order to visualize in the ListPage. Only menu item name ist'n sufficient.

Menu item name and enum with an enum value is sufficient, that is what they do in Standard AX, see my second post on PurchTableListPage.

Enum is single value not multiple. In my case I have to pass multiple values.

Can't you have an enum value for each possible scenario? That would not work if it is something like record-context based though, in that case I have no solution for you.

You would have to step away from ListPage in that case, and use regular forms.
