Teams Event check in missing from Test Send

I wanted to test an Email Event reminder in my Customer Journey by using "Test Send" and sending to myself and a couple of others who were ONLY registered as participants.

When using the Test Send feature the "Teams check-in" button shows on the preview but is not on the Email when it arrives in the Inbox.

The Check-in button was connected to the Event.

Any ideas why this does not show?

We have upgraded our internal version and this issue has been resolved.

Thanks for you reply. Unfortunately, this feature is NOT working for us. I made a new test this morning by using "Test Send " with a Reminder to Join an Event Email to a registered event recipient. The Teams Live Event is LIVE in our system.

Again, the Email preview showed the "Teams Check-In button", but when it was delivered to the recipient, the button was missing.

We will make a Support Case regarding this matter!  Thanks for you help!

    Hi CHK1970,

    Thanks for your feedback.

I did test: in my environment, the button is available to email sent by Test Send.

    Server version: 9.2.21012.00135

    Region: Crm5

    Marketing app version: 1.35.10068.1056

You could contact Support and ask them to update your instance to enable the feature.

I did that already, in the test CJ the button was available when i got the Email. The problem is that its missing from Test Send. This creates a lot of nervous people who think the button will be missing when the journey goes Live. It means we have to test send every customer journey to be sure. This is a lot of wasted time. It needs to be available when you receive a Test Send Email. Its not enough that its visible in the preview only.

    Hi CHK1970,

It's unexpected behavior, please try following actions to do troubleshooting.

    1. Create a simple customer journey to send the existing/current email to check whether the button could be available in general process.

    2. Create a copy of the current email and run test send again.

Hi, Yes the test contact did have an associated event registration record. On the preview it looked fine. In the inbox the Teams Check-In button was missing

    Hi CHK1970,

Please check whether the test contact has associated event registration record.
