Remove Email hyperlink

Hello,

I want to remove the hyperlink of E-mail field from Contact table. I know I can do this by changing the 'ExtendedDatatype' property.. But its not possible to change this property in table extension. Do you know if there is another way to remove the hyperlink ?

Hi

You could copy the value to another field and keep it in sync with the data type you want.

As far as I know, there is no other way except the method mentioned by gdrenteria.

In addition, clicking the hyperlink will pop up the system default email app. If you don’t want it to pop up, you can disable this in Windows.
