Has anyone used the sales unit/team and sales targets functionality in the sales and marketing module of D365 F&O? I am trying to see an example of how these are used to see if it meets our needs.
I understand how commissions work and the set up required there, but I cannot find any recent documentation about sales unit/team and how to set it up correctly. (I found some on AX 12 but very vague and screenshots are missing so can't match it up)
I've attempted to set up a new one but the Sales Unit Designer has all the workers grayed out and not even sure if I need to add workers. Responsibilities are limited as well so not sure the point of these.

I also thought sales targets could be used to set targets however it will not let me edit the Target Date and amount at the bottom of this screenshot. Not sure if I am missing some set up.

And do the calculate sales totals have anything to do with this either?

Any guidance is appreciated.
