Ax 2012 with azure devops-Issue while importing models using a visual studio extension

Hi,

We are using Azure Devops pipeline to create and deploy models across ax 2012 . We used a visual studio build tool as below to achieve it as below:

We have created the pipeline as below where we are successfully able to export and combine an xpo model which we can confirm brings all the object. We have verified that , however while we are using the step to import the model (highlighted below in the step), everything except the reports are getting deployed.

We have also verified that the model exported in earlier step has the report (By deploying the model manually and doing a  build). So it only fails in this step when we run it through the pipeline. I am posting this to check if any of you have used the tool above and have encountered a similar issue before where the model import is not happening completely but partially using the devops pipeline for ax 2012.

According to the documentation, there is AX 2012 Report - Deploy task for this purpose. Do you have it in your pipeline? If so, did it succeed and logged any output?

    Hi Martin,

Thank you for replying back to this question. We have managed to resolve it now by deploying the objects separately one by one. While your suggestion of deploying reports comes after the reports are imported. The initial problem we had were that all the  objects were not getting imported in the step mentioning model import. We broke these steps into different parts and had a successful import of all objects followed by clean build. After which we tried to deploy report  and it has gone successfully.
