Send Direct Email - Send Button Broken

Hello,
 
We just enabled /Send Direct Email/ in Dynamics.  From my account, it is working perfectly but from a colleague's account it suddenly stopped working.  When he chooses a Template, the /Send/ button simply doesn't work when clicked. No error, no action, it just doesn't work. He tried multiple browsers, re-logging in, etc. I tried sending as him and it also did not work - same issue. So it is not a local issue on his end.  For about a week, it worked then it stopped. We did not change any settings.
 
His email configuration is running /Success/ and it appears he has all the right permissions. Any ideas here?

    Not using 'Send Direct Email' feature, Can this user create email record and send them successfully in Dynamics 365?
    Try to Test and Run mailbox of the user again.

    Yes he is able to send emails directly, just not on the Send Direct Email prompt. The "Send" button just does not respond, there is no error code or anything. This seems like a bug of some kind. Everything else is looking good in the system - his email was tested and successful. What could have changed?

    Hello,
     
    In the security role assigned to your colleague under Core records tab, check if the permission on the email template is removed, if this is the case, add the needed permissions and save the security role.
     
    You can simply compare with the security role assigned to your user.
