seems like theres a bug somewhere in this spageti code.

a supplier i used disapeared from HQ and stores.....

i added new name in suppliers in HQ... pushed a 206... stores got the supplier no problem from HQ client... if i look in UI , i see nothing about the supplier in DATABASE-> suppliers...

i checked the DB and there's nothing about that supplier there...

it's in HQ db... i just can't seem to push it... HQ client DEBUG shows that is getting 206 and adding supplier , no errors...

any idea ? should i WRITE another app to add suppliers as well ?

are there triggers on the suppliers table ?

Hello FCASES,

Please note that in an HQ environment locally created items, suppliers, tenders, etc. can cause reporting issues at HQ.

Hello FCASES,

Thank you for posting about an issue adding a supplier; and thank you Jeff for posting some things to try.

You may also want to query the Supplier table at the store to see if the supplier is there but just not showing in the UI for some reason.

You cold run something similar to:

select * from supplier where suppliername = 'NameOfSupplier'

Hopefully this helps.

have you run a re-index and a database check recently?
