My client is on SL 2015 and has a 4 segment sub-account. They have a reporting tree that is built on the third (Employee) segment and works with the exception of a handful of lines that also include the 2nd (Business Line) segment. An example is below:
+Business Line = [3?], Employee = [000]
+Employee = [601]
+Employee = [602]
+Employee = [603]
+Employee = [920]
+Employee = [221]
+Employee = [222]
+Business Line = [6?], Employee = [000]
+Business Line = [5?], Employee = [000]
+Business Line = [4?], Employee = [000]
+Employee = [505]
+Employee = [504]
The lines in question are all for the same employee (000) but are also further subdivided by multiple Business line. It is these segments that include the "Business Line" that are not pulling onto the reporting tree. in troubleshooting we've tried the following:
1) Rebuilt the datamart
2) For the troubled reporting tree line added wildcards ??? to the other segments with no effect
My understanding is that this tree has been used now for many years and this is the first time this problem has come up. There have been no changes to the tree structure nor have there been any recent SL or MR updates. Any thoughts as to why the affected reporting tree lines do not work. Am open to suggestions.

Hello JG,
I asked an MR support specialist to look at your issue:
It sounds like they are saying that if they create a node on the tree with just the employee ID, like this:
+Employee = [000]
That node on the tree prints for the employee. But if the node on the tree filters on both the employee and business line, like this:
+Business Line = [3?], Employee = [000]
Then nothing on that node prints.
I guess the questions I would have is whether the business line is a two digit value. And assuming it is, what happens if they enter a filter without a wildcard, like if there is a business line 34, if they entered a filter like this:
+Business Line = [34], Employee = [000]
If that doesn’t print either, then I would suspect that they might have some conflicting filter on a row or column. Maybe create a tree as a test with nodes on just the business line and not the employees and see if that tree workds. If that tree doesn’t print either, then they probably need to look at the rows and columns and what filters they are using there to see if there is some conflict.
