Hey,
I want to change the default lead qualification process of D365 2016 which converts a lead into an opportunity.
I want that when Qualify is clicked, a dialog should open that provides a choice between Account, Contact, and Opportunity to create (not all 3, any one of them).
Can we change the process of 'Qualify' button or its action? I have less knowledge of plugin development and its coding.
Any solution for the same?
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes you can change the default behaviour. You can create dialog and call the dialog on the qualify button. Place you custom js before the default button action using the ribbon workbench. Pls find the below how to call your dialog on button button click.

You can replace lead qualify button with flyanchot button with three option Account, Contact, and Opportunity onclick of this option you can call javascript function to Qualify lead to convert it to selected record type.
Other option you can create HTML webresource with three option Account, Contact, and Opportunity with Qualify button. using JavaScript/custom Action you can qualify lead and convert into specified record type.
