When I try to edit the time sheet via business central mobile application, there is a message saying "to edit TIME SHEETS, i have to try either using a tablet or desktop"

So, is it not possible to edit the time sheets in mobile application?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Lihini,

That is correct. It isn't possible to use the native Time Sheets screens from the mobile app.

There are some alternatives you can try:

    1. There is an app for Business Central on AppSource called ExpandIT 365 Time that you can try out. It may work on mobile devices. (Note: I do not work for ExpandIT or stand to gain anything if you decide to use this app).
    2. You can create an app for Time Entry using Microsoft PowerApps. For starters, you can make something very simple that just shows some fields from the Job Journal or the Job G/L Journal to have users enter their time, and it would feed this information directly to one of the aforementioned pages. The person responsible for reviewing the time entries can review the journal and then post these entries. Your users can download Microsoft PowerApps for free from their iPhone / Android / Windows Phone (from the respective app stores), and when they log in using the Office 365 credentials (the same one they use to access Business Central), they will have access to your time entry app. I recently did a webinar on PowerApps for the Business Central and NAV User Group (BCUG/NAVUG). If you are a member, you can watch the recording by following this link.

My webinar was primarily targeted at NAV users, but it should be 95% applicable to you as a Business Central user (NAV is just the on-prem edition of Business Central).

I hope this helps. If my response has answered your question, please verify by clicking Yes next to "Did this answer your question?"
