Good day to my fellow D365 user neighbors. I am a new and inexperienced D365 user and I am hoping that the neighborhood users can provide some occasional assistance and advice. My immediate need is as follows:

Using task recorder I would like to record a task that includes navigating to a field and either (1) pausing the playback so manual data entry can be performed in the field and upon completion of the data entry unpause the playback to continue the following navigation steps or (2) automatically pasting the non-D365 clipboard content into the field w/ no pause/unpause required. I don't know if the task recorder is robust enough to capture and playback such a process.

Thanks to anyone who is able to provide a brief response that will enable me to either continue my pursuits or abandon a hoped for solution.

Hi,

Just to know, what exactly you will do while task recorder is in pause mode(as per your assumption??

Is it something related to RSAT?

Hi Tim,

Are you using Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations? Can you elaborate on what you want to achieve in detail? What is the business process here?
