GP closes unexpectedly with no error .

I have to agree with the other community members. We need a whole lot more information to try to help with this.
One more thing, when does GP close? Upon login or when printing a report?

Go to event viewer to trace the log under application.

I think we would all love to be able to help you, but you aren't giving us a lot to work with. Can you let us know, what version you are on. What window you are in or what report you might be printing. Are you on a terminal Server, Web Server. Is this happening to all users, just one user, does it let you do any work in Great Plains, need a little more explanation.
