Free Auto Numbering Managed Solution

Hi,

I was searching for a free solution for auto-numbering in CRM 2015 Online. I found one on this website http://www.planetxrm.com/microsoft-dynamics-crm-2013-2011-auto-id-generator/ , but when I am importing it, it is asking "By enabling this command you consent to share your data with external system". Does that means that this plugin will send data from our organization to some external system? If yes, then can anyone please suggest me a solution?

    Thanks for the reply but it still doesn't answer my 1st question because this solution also asks the same on CRM online "By enabling this command, you consent to share your data with an external system." I want to know if this is because of we are using CRM online or it is actually send data to the external system?

    The solution suggested by you is not working on primary fields. Is it the expected behavior?

    Yes, When I am adding new_name or name in case of account in the attribute field it is not working, but if I give any other text field, its working.

    Looks like I cannot even send them the issue as the captcha used on contact us page is having bugs :) .

    Why not create the solution  yourself, you can use workflow to do that.

    by using workflow, you can have condition control. 

    Please refer to below blog, it is a step by step tutorial.
