I am using the D365 Marketing app to send emails, engage in customer journeys, etc.
I want to get some reporting from these metrics into DOMO, where my company stores all of its other metrics, including everything I would need to figure out ROI by campaign.
I have successfully connected to the CRM data from D365, but I was told by DOMO to use the Azure Blob connector for the Marketing data. I set that up, but it appears there are hundreds of directories with only 5 or 6 lines of data and they appear to be split up by day. I don't know a lot about Azure, but I think the directories are messing me up. Is there a way to just pull the data directly from the app? I'm looking for things like email opens, email clicks, marketing page visits and clicks, etc.
I'm surprised it seems like there is no way to set up an excel export or even a flow into a regular table.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi elizaRM,
Yes, using the Azure Blob Connector is the right way to proceed in this case.
As for in-product exporting capabilities, it's possible to manually export the insights into .csv file by clicking the "Export to CSV" button (as indicated on below screenshot):
Thank you,
Aga
We also get stuck with exporting interaction data and be told that Azure Blob Connector is the only way, it’s very frustrating that they can’t be accessed like other CDS entities.
