Hi All
We are having a similar problem like
https://community.dynamics.com/sl/f/35/t/25652.aspx
But we haven't gotten a solution for it.
We are running MS Dynamics 2011 SP1 from a network drive. A couple months ago, some of our users were reporting immediate crashing, when the opened solomon. We tried uninstalling the software and re-installing, but was that didnt work.
We tried a fresh windows 7 32bit PC, but we were still getting the same error. Once we clicked on solomon, it immediately crashes. It would prompt us to go to this page
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2715633
After following the steps suggested and restarting, Solomon would still crash immediately.
This is the error log

One thing that has worked is if we install the full Solomon client on a workstation, then we able to open Solomon without any issues. But we can't use this solution because we have over 120 users and also customs reports are modified weekly.
If you have any questions about our environment or install process, please let me know
Any help or direction you can provide, will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

I had a similar problem with a specific workstation running Dynamics SL 7. So it is an earlier version but worth a shot.
The workstation was running .Net Framework 4.5.1. I uninstalled it and Dynamics SL worked. Of course, then the program that needed Net Framework 4.5.1 started to fail. So I downloaded and reinstalled a fresh copy of 4.5.1 and everything worked.
Hi Butch
Thanks for the reply.
When installing on workstations we use shared drive.
Also, we have .Net 3.5.1 installed on all workstations.
Do you remember if you used the share drive or UNC path when you told the SL client where the SL files are? I think I have seen this when I use the UNC path and not the share drive letter.
Also, make sure .Net .3.5.1 is turned on in your Windows 7 machine.
