Can Master planning consider inventory from multiple warehouse to fulfil the demand in D365 F&O?

Dear Madam/Sir,

Can Master planning consider inventory from multiple warehouse to fulfil the demand for 1 line in D365 F&O?
If so, how would you configure this?

For example, I have a forecast for 1000pc of product A. The forecast is entered on warehouse 1 (it seems you must define a warehouse, cannot leave it blank).
Warehouse 1 has inventory of product A of 700pc.
Warehouse 2 has inventory of product A of 1200pc.
At the moment when I run Master planning for Product A, it will produce a planned purchase order (on warehouse 1) for 300pc as it cannot fulfil the demand of 1000 out of warehouse 1.
What I would like is that Master planning looks at both the inventory of warehouse 1 and 2 and does not produce any planned purchase order as the demand of 1000pc can be fulfilled from a combination of the inventory in warehouse 1 and 2.

Thank you in advance for your thoughts/suggestions,
Kind regards,
Koen

    Hy,
you can configure the planing to create transfer order for Warehouse 1 to be refilled form Warehouse 2, so you get the 1000 pc on Warehouse 1.  Needs to be setup on Warehouse level (Refill) in setup of inventory break down.

    Hope this helps.

You could disable the warehouse as planning dimension on the storage dimension group of the products involved.

if you do that , MRP will consider stock for all warehouses within the same site.
As downside, you will need to choose a default warehouse if a planned purchase order is generated

aparisi82 is correct. But keep in mind that if you deselect Warehouse for Coverage you will no longer be able to set warehouse safety/minimum inventory levels for each warehouse. That will now be at the Site level. And planning will no longer suggest planned warehouse to warehouse transfers if the warehouses are in the same Site.
