Invisible shortcuts on the Navigation Pane in GP2010

At one time I had created a shortcut to the Professional Services Tools on my Home page in the Navigation page.

However, now it's not showing up - but if I try to re-add it, I get a message telling me it's already been added!

Any ideas how to A) get the original one to show up, or B) delete the shortcut (wherever it might be) so I can re-add it?

Additional note: The shortcuts are still defined in the SY01990 table - they just don't appear in the Navigation Pane.

Problem solved...I right clicked in the Navigation Pane, selected 'Navigation Pane Options', then clicked on the 'Reset' button - magically all my shortcuts reappeared!

Now, why did they go away in the first place???
