    Hello,

Could you please clarify following  -

    1. How you are updating the record ?

    2. Is there any business rules involved with the lookup field?

    3. Does it happening for all lookup value of particular value ?

    Hi Goutam Das,

1-I have the same issue even if i try to create a new record with a lookup field (e.g creating an account and use lookup field to get the contact)

2-I don't have any business rules involved with the lookup field

3-the same issue with all the lookup field

PS:the org was working fine since few month , without any new publish of customization.

The same thing is happening to us.  Just seemed to start within the last few weeks.  We've tried rebooting the server, clearing browser cache, etc.  None have worked.  This seems to happen more times using Chrome.   Still searching for a fix...

    Hi ,

I am suspecting there might have some workflow or process related to lookup entity which causes the issue . Could you please go to CRM application server and then type services.msc in the run window , restart all the CRM (Async , monitoring etc ) services .

Also go to DB server do the same for all Sql Server related services and finally restart all the server .

In addition try to check is there any workflow , plugin , business rules , java script logic  which might causes this error as well.

We are getting the same error and rebooting the server has NOT corrected it. At first, the server was having a problem with disk space but that had been resolved and the error continues to occur.

The error DOES NOT appear to occur in Internet Explorer but in Chrome, FireFox and Edge.

This problem is occurring right on the User page - so it's not related to customized areas of the system.

Any assistance would be useful - since it says NullReference , I'm thinking there 's a bad record somewhere.
