ReportMDSL 2015: I have a lost check in the mail, as I go to void the check, it tells me that check status in not outstanding, but yet IT IS in outstanding status. Any ideas???

Carolyn, It was listed in a HOLD reconciliation batch! Thank you for the assistance!!!!

If the status is still outstanding, this message indicates it is in a void check batch or a reconciliation batch that has not been released.
Usually, it is in a void check batch.
Go to void Check, F3 on the Batnbr field, click on the status title to sort by title.... are there any batches with H or B status, if so... it is most likely in one of those batches. Pull up the batch and either process it through or delete the batch alogether.
Other batch status' could be S for suspended.
Leo, is it possible the check is already in another void check batch? Or could it have been inadvertently reconciled?
