Error when deleting a released product

Hi MS team

I've tried to troubleshoot the below error message without any luck.

The below message is received when I try and delete a Released Product. This is a newly created item with not transactions posted.

"Items cannot be deleted while dependent Part Type Setup exist. Delete dependent Part Type Setup and try again."

I'm trying to establish if this is a STD message or perhaps due to development added.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

It sounds like a modification of your system because I never heard of part type setup before. Please check on the UI if you have and reference or subtable/menu item with part type. If yes check if you can remove the relation.
