Dear Experts,

It is stated that i m facing a problem. when i settle the transactions of my customer it will display this message.

"This transaction has been marked for settlement by another user"

please see the pic for more detail

this transaction marked for another payment journal,

you can check the open payment journal and cancel the settlement

Hi Andre....i have read this topic...at the end he said..its dangerous...will you plz tell me if i delete these from SpecTrans...will it effect on any other table or field ...like customer aging...customer balance or like these.....waiting your favorable reply

if this vendor, you can go to payment journal and filter on open only (show open not posted) as the below

just delete this line or post it as you need

Hi Yasir,

The spectrans record is the marking between two transactions for settlement. If this one is deleted and someone posts the journal, assuming it was linked, it will not settle the transactions. Instead, you can do the settlement afterwards.

Based on the spectrans record, you can also find the related record to see if this indeed needs to be deleted or not.

You can also try to find the marking using the vendor transaction or settlement form opened from the vendor list page.

andre thanks for your reply....journal has already posted....now we are going to knock off these with sales order...so that's why i m asking about the effect of these changes...will you plz help me to know this

Hi Yasir,

Is your problem solved as you marked answers aleady? If not, I'm confused about the Sales order here. I thought you were settling transactions from the form as shown in the screenshot. What is the relation with a sales order? Or do you mean an invoice or credit note based on an order?
