Hi,
I thought this would be easy.
How can I add Sort functionality to my Email Entity View?
From, To, CC, BCC fields in emails are pointing to Activity Party entity. Activity Party is containing relationship with multiple entities that's why not able to sort / filter on those fields.
So it cannot be sorted/filtered except using custom report.
HI,
I think this is what you need to do in order to enable sorting by contact -
1. Create new custom lookup field pointing to Contact Entity
2. Create real time workflow to auto populate your custom field value from FROM field
3. Add your custom field to your view
4. Apply sorting
