Installation if the Foundation labels

Hello,

I would like to avoid the labels like "@sys123" in the client interface.

Is there a way to only add the foundation labels to an existing database, without having to completely reinstall all the components of AX ?

    Hi,

    One option is to have another AX 2012 installation with correct SYS labels.

    Solution 1:

    Use export/import model functionality.

    Solution 2:

    Export/import labels using ALD files.

    You shouldn't have the case where you are missing SYS labels and have the need to import them. Have you perhaps installed hotfixes, or new modules from Microsoft without refreshing the Label cache? Alternatively are you running a partially or unsupported language in the client?

    Jonathan,

    When installing AX 2012 R3 there was the option "Install foundation labels" that was unchecked by default, it's for this reason that the model wasn't installed.
