Get the consumption of an item for a specific time-period

How can I get the consumed qty of an item in the e.g. past 20 days?

Background: We have to calculate the qty of several items which have to be shipped to our shops. This should be done with a class that uses a special formula. one of the starting parameters is the qty consumed in a defined period back from today.

Any ideas how I can get the value ?

    Hello Chris,

Have you tried using the inventory value report for that purpose?

It allows specifying a COGS and Profit&loss parameter that gives you the information.

Would be great if you could test and let us know if this is the information you are looking for.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

As we need the qty we would use the column 'Inventory: Physical Qty posted' in that report, butas I understood this column shows the aggregation from received and delivered goods..

what we need is the qty sold in the defined period for each item. after having received that value we start the calculation of the target qty for the next delivery to the shop

    Hello ChrisR75,

I believe that the inventory value report includes this information.

Please have a look at the following site (part 'deferred cogs and cogs' parameter)

    dynamicsax-fico.com/.../inventory-reconciliation-inventory-value-report-part-23

Have you already checked the information available in the sales and marketing module inquiriy forms, such as 'shipments', 'packing slip', etc.?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
