Hi All,
With relation to the dynamics 365 portal, wanting to know if if its possible to have some visibility on the currently logged in contacts? Not sure of the technical wording "Active Sessions" or whatever.
Appreciate your suggestions!

Active users is not a supported feature for the portal OOB.
But you can really easily built it, for example using web analytics providers, like Google Analytics or Azure Application Insights.
As an example with Google Analytics:
1) You need to generate your script code at google analytics developer site.
2) insert it into Tracking Code snippet, as described here : https://biegal.ski/code/ms-dynamics-crm-google-analytics-in-portal
Or set it via Portal->Portal Management->Enable Traffic Analytics in CRM
