Purchase requisition workflow approval taking too long to load and approve

Purchase requisition workflow approval is taking too long to load and approve PR. This is happening only for some specific users, not with sysadmin access.

It is working fine for some users having the same role. tried refreshing usage data but no luck.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Raziq

    Hi Raziq,

Can you check the workflow history when the system is taking some extra time?

This can only happen if there is additional steps are happening based on the submitter.

Other than this, Workflow works based on the batch running time.

    Thanks for reply, Ramit.

I will take a look at workflow history. However, I am more concerned about the time it takes to open the UI to approve PRs. It is taking approx. 5 mins to load before we click the approve button.

    Regards,

    Raziq

I would suggest to check the internet connection, approval button is not dependent on users or their access.

Internet is alright and having 1GB speed. When this user role changed to sysadmin, it takes no time to load the UI and works well.

Alright, then I dont have any clue, probably you can wait for other experts to help or you can raise this to MS support team

    Hi Mohammad Raziq Ali,

Looks like some bug in the code. Could you log a service request to Microsoft Support team ?

    Hi Raziq,

Did you ever get this resolved?

This is happening to a few of our users (PR's take 4-5 minutes to open). I gave them System Administrator role to test, and they do not get the issue with it. If I assign myself the same roles as them, the PR's open normally, so it's very weird. Would be good to know the reason.

    Thanks,

    Jo
