Using Web Services for checking AcctHist and generating Journal Transactions

Posted on by 90

I have SL 2015 and I need to integrate it with a third party application, in order to acomplish this, I need to check balances of my accounts, and then, register Journal Transactions. I was wondering if this is possible with Web Services,  and if so, do I need to install  Web Applications and Web Services? or is there any other path to make this.

I appreciate any help you can give me.

Thks!!

:)

I came across this yesterday: http://www.kingswaysoft.com/products/ssis-integration-toolkit-for-microsoft-dynamics-sl

I haven't tried it at all but I did make a note to myself that if I had to do another integration to Dynamics I would take a look at this. It looks like it would be quite useful if you are familiar with SSIS.

Depending on your process you may be able to do it with SSIS without using Web Services.
