    Hi Rayyan,

What do you mean exactly by overdue days?

Should the credit limit shrink as the overdue days increase?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

Customers may get put on credit hold for several reasons typically:

    • The total exposure is considered too high  - they have bought lot which we welcome but in the event of default there is a level of risk we don't want to accept even through their payments may be timely. Ax sort of handles this scenario, we can decide not to take more orders, or take the orders but not to ship until the customer is back within the allowed credit.
    • The customer may be inside his credit limit but may have already exceeded the due days , which implies the risk of default is increasing and we therefore don't want to extend any more credit until he has honoured his current dues. Some software packages support this control,  Ax does not support this see e.g. these earlier posts https://community.dynamics.com/ax/f/33/t/18081. Milas Ax is one isv that has customised this, but I don't think this functionality its separately available.
    • Note also that credit limits are checked on free text invoices and sales orders but sales quotations are not considered.
