Hi,

I am after the price list held in AX for all our stock items, what report can I run? I have tried Base price/Discount setup report (which pulls all prices as 0.00) and also Item Prices report (which does not pull any results) under Stock Management module, is there any standard report that could assist?

It depends what you want to show on the report. The Price/discount reports that come with AX produce the raw Trade agreement records, which depending on your configuration may be exactly what you want, or worthless.

If you have a complex configuration where many Trade agreement records exist for a given item, and you're using discounts, and you're using Table (customer/vendor specific) and Group (customer group/vendor group specific) Trade agreements, and quantity breaks, and expired/effective dates, then simply dumping all of these "rules" onto paper is worthless because you can't easily arrive at what single price would appear on a sales order at a glance. AX processes these rules in a given order and typically one (or more) of them "wins" and that's what price (or discount) is produced for a given situation.

Please explain in more detail what you mean by "price list".

Also, where are your prices stored? Are you using Trade agreements? Groups? Dates? Quantity breaks?

Hi,

I am having the same concern. I don't know which report can provide for me the history of Price of Item with column: Vendor/Customer, Item code, Currency, Price, From Date, To Date...

In AX 2009, I did easily find it in AR> Reports > Price/ Discount >Price/Discount List. It seem list out all Trade Agreement.

In AX 2012, where can I find it?

no report in Ax 2012, but you can find prices per product in sell and purchase tab, also per customer and vendor
