I am currently working in Dynamics 365 for Operations version 8 environment. I am looking to see if anyone has come up with a solution for doing bank drops on a previous day's safe drops. Currently, to keep our statements balanced at COB we are depositing what is in our cash drawer for that given day and doing a tender declaration for the amount that we wish to use as a starting amount the next day. We are doing bank deposits daily, sometimes multiple times within the same day and the bank is not actually depositing those funds into our bank account until sometimes 2-3 days after that cash has been delivered to the bank for various reasons. I want to post the bank deposit when the money is actually deposited at the bank and hits our bank account instead of doing a bank drop at the end of each day when the money is only taken to the bank.
Has anyone found a workaround to doing this/there functionality built in that I am just not using correctly? Or is this still a limitation in Dynamics 365?
