Labels for APIs and Excipients samples

I am working for a Pharmaceutical company. In our site we are using NAV as our ERP and we need to know if we can print the labels  to identify samples from Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients or excipients which includes the weight of each sample collected. Could be possible to connect directly the balances to the NAV in order to capture the weights and put it in the labels printed to identify each sample?

    Hi,

    Not sure If I understood the problem correctly, but let me try, As you mentioned you want to download the label, I hope you are talking about the external APIs so the answer is Yes, you can directly consume those API with NAV using Json or XML response or methods.

    Also for your 2nd question if I am right, you want to connect directly your GL balances or GL entries, I would say NO, please create a separate PAGE to show them what they required or elaborate it more so that I can answer.

    Hi, For printing labels, this is similar to the WMS function, I think if you use item tracking (lot management) feature, it should be possible.
    But this requires some customization. Because there is no Label template you need in the system.

    As for the interface with other software or hardware, this also needs to be developed, I suggest you find a partner to discuss the requirements together.
