What field are you looking to add? Its possible its a field that already exists and it just has to be added to a user's page by personalizing the system. If it doesn't exist, the system will have to be customized to add it.

Add New Field To Journal Entry
    Hi Keith,

To add new fields to a journal entry in Dynamics 365, you need to customize the journal entry form. Go to the "Settings" > "Customization" > "Customize the System." Find the journal entry entity and open the form you want to edit. Use the form editor to add new fields by dragging them from the field explorer to your form. Save and publish your changes to make the new fields available in your journal entries.

Add New Field To Journal Entry
    Hi Keith,

    Use Ctrl+Alt+F1 (inspect page data).

you will know the table and current page.

Then use tableextension and pageextension to add field in table and page.

    Regards,
    Saurav Dhyani
