Dynamics AX 2012 / CRM connector - vendor integration

Hello,

I have exposed the VendVendTableService to the dynamics ax 2012 / crm connector. I have created a custom map. I was able to synchronize data from a custom entity in CRM(that i called "Suppliers") to AX, but for the Vendor Name.

I have noticed that the name of the vendor is saved in a table in AX called DirPartyTable.

If i map the name in the DirPartyTable\Item\Name property i get the following error: "This document does not support the AxDirPartyTable class." If i map the name in the Organization Name\Item\Name property i get the error: "Unable to cast object of type 'Dynamics.Ax.Application.AxDirPartyTable' to type 'Dynamics.Ax.Application.AxDirOrganization'."

If i do not set any of the  "Name" properties exposed, the vendor is created but it has no name.

The mapping is shown in the picture below.

    The Connector cannot work with polymorphic types, which is what DirParty is. Instead, you'll want to make sure the service returns the explicit type--in this case it looks like it should return DirOrganization. You can find an example of this in the query for AxdConnCustomerOrg service--this was a custom service built just for Connector that exposes DirOrganization information on the Customer. You'll want to change your query to match this one. Hope this helps.
