NAV 5 ODBC Driver and Crystal Reports XI

I am using Crystal Reports XI on Navision Proprietary database (Not SQL) (5.0 - SP1)using the Dynamics ODBC Driver.  Reports are failing if the number of fields in a table exceed 255.  The Crystal Reports forum suggests problem exists with an outdated ODBC Driver.  Any ideas?
