Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Archived)

Invalid User Authorization

Posted on by 1,695

I have just set up a Test environment;

Windows 2016 Server VM With CRM2016

Windows 2016 Server VM With SQL2016

I have run all updates including  CRM2016-Srs-KB3154952-ENU-Amd64 for reporting services

1. I have no 'standard' reports in CRM

2. if I try and create a report, a standard report on accounts it creates the report, however when trying to run the report I get  Invalid User Authorization , The user authentication passed to the platform is not valid.

I am signed on as Domain\Admin and this is the only user on the system. The CRM has had no data / workflows / plugins added. I don't understand why I am getting an Invalid user. Domain Admin is also a admin on the SQL server

    RE: Invalid User Authorization

    If there are no standard reports in CRM, then something went wrong with the deployment, and you don't have proper access to the SSRS server.  Try reinstalling the reporting connector and then deploying a fresh organization to see if you get teh out of the box reports, then.
