Dynamics CRM Integration with Wordpress website

Hi all

I have a query regarding MS Dynamics CRM integration with our website. We are trying to connect a new WordPress website to our MS Dymanics CRM.

In brief, we need WP to access D365, with the correct permissions, then creating multiple record types.

Our web agency have tried a couple of approaches but have hit roadblocks:

-connecting to Dynamics Web API using Oauth and using Web API

-connecting on behalf of the user and getting data using MS Graph

In both of the cases they were able to successfully connect to MS Dynamics however started facing issues with permissions or rather lack of permissions to view the entities. They requested to approve different sets of permissions in Azure portal, to use with the auth approach but still hit more roadblocks.

Does anyone know if this is possible and/or have any suggestions of people who can do this?

Thanks for any help

Ben

    Hello Ben,

You can check this existing integration plugin first - https://alexacrm.com/plugin/

    Hello Ben,

You created the thread with exactly the same question. Duplicated threads are not recommended on the forums so I merged threads into one. My answer remains the same - check AlexaCrm plugin for the wordpress that allows to connect wordpress site to Dataverse instance.

    Good luck.

    Hi,

Would you be able to share error details with us to check this further?

what account are you using to connect to Dynamics CRM, have you added this user in your CRM instance and assigned security role?

Make sure you have selected Dynamics CRM Impersonation under API permission in your app registration.

Please mark my answer verified if this is helpful!

WordPress is probably one of the most popular content management systems (CMS) today, but it can be difficult to keep up with all of its updates and changes. You have to make sure you're using the latest version of WordPress to get all of its security patches. You also have to keep track of all of your plugins, ensuring they're compatible with your site's current version. Regarding plugins, I can recommend using https://freetheme.io. Their plugins are free and are the best to use because they are easy to install and run very smoothly.
