When I walk into a Pizza Pizza location they have a large screen with a "digital reciept" and they can print a paper copy if asked I was wondering how to do this with microsoft dynamics pos.

This is called Net Display in Microsoft RMS, But in Dynamics POS this function is not available. There is a sample add-in for the POS 2009 version.
Within RMS you have to setup the Net Display Channel and then assign this to the register definition. Both of these windwos are under the Database -> Reigsters menu. If you need examples you can find those in the online help file. Goto to the index tab and type in Net Display Channel. This will give you two choices and the 2nd should be Setting Net Display Channels.
