Is there any supported way to change the color of the Status Reason text on the Case Form.

Hi All,

We have a requirement to change the text color of the status reason field for different options, we would like to use the supported way only. Is there a way we can achieve this using the PCF controls/javascript?

We are using D365 latest version CRM.

    Hi Samhitha, 

    For general option set fields, There are some existing components in PCF Gallery--Colorful Optionset (GitHub - ORBISAG/ORBIS.PCF.ColorfulOptionset), which can show different color in the form.

    However, status reason field is special, Controls tab not visible in Field properties for Status Reason field: Property Element - Power Apps | Microsoft Docs

    So you can't change the text color of the status reason field for different options in the form.

    Or you can try to add another PCF control(ColorfulOptionsetGrid) to the view, which can achieve it as following screenshot.

    Hi Partner,

    We can't change the text color of the status reason field for different options in the form using OOB.

    Yes we can use JavaScript - but it is not working fine in UCI.

    The best option would be to use pcf controls - Colorful Optionset Grid | PCF Gallery
